Forstner Bits are designed to drill flat bottom holes or through holes cleanly in endgrain, thick stock, veneers and regular stock. These bits will not move off centre through unusual grain or angle. Great for mounting mini-quartz movements, cup hinges and door locks.

Our production quality Forstner Bit is made of heat-treated forged steel.

The 3 1/8" bit is larger than most models. The extra 1/8" assures that most clock movements will not bind against the edge if the centre hole is drilled slightly off centre.
